This means that your student will not be allowed to start school in the Fall on day one if they are missing required immunizations and/or do not have a current Certificate of Exemption on file. This requirement for immunization also applies to students who will be remaining in a fully remote online learning method for the 2021-2022 school year. You can find a Certificate of Exemption here: https://www.doh.wa.gov/Portals/1/Documents/Pubs/348-106_CertificateofExemption.pdf Now is the time to start planning to ensure your student is fully compliant with immunizations and can start school on day one, September 8, 2021, in the Fall. If you are uncertain if your student needs immunizations, please reach out to the Cascade Health Room at (253) 931-4995 ext. 6; we can assist you. You may also register with the MyIR Mobile app to gain access and control over your student’s immunization records. MyIR Mobile is in partnership with the Washington State Immunization Information System and the Department of Health and allows you to review your student's immunization history, get reminders for future immunizations, and even print your own official records…it’s all free and just a click away. Visit: https://myirmobile.com/ Paper notices will be sent out in the mail from the Health Room prior to the last day of school with this information, including what immunizations your student requires for entry into school in the Fall, as another form of communication.
